I gave this short talk on the virtues of the Thoth Tarot by Aleister Crowley and Frieda Harris. I talk about; the superstitions and fear that surrounds and why you should not give it any attention, how the esoteric elements (like astrology, qabala, or alchemy)  help inform the meaning in straight forward language, the value of pairing major cards to deepen our understanding, and a whole bunch of other fun stuff. I also give a brief pitch for my upcoming intensive 8 week class on mastering this deck.

I had the joy of getting to meet Rana George while I was in Dallas last fall teaching tarot. I had not really been that interested in learning Lenormand reading but after taking her workshop it caught my interest. It is very focused and offers a much more predictive approach to card reading than tarot. In this interview we talk about the predicting the future in readings and raising future generations of readers.

BONUS A great tarot talk and a free spread to use with the major arcana.

I gave a talk recently in celebration of my new tarot deck “Tarot Waiting to Happen”  This deck is an exploration of what happens to the characters in the tarot before they end up in the scenes we are used to seeing. In this recording I talk about why I created the deck and my artistic process. I also speak to some thoughts behind each card. I perform a reading for someone using the spread I created to go with my deck. I think there is great value in seeing the reading process in action and I hope you will get a lot out of the recording. You don’t need my deck to get a lot out of the recording but if you are moved to get your own copy you can buy one here. They are 1/4 sold out so don’t wait too long. EP01 Interviews about Change with Nancy Antenucci

Welcome to the first interview in the series.

Back in the early days of the year I found myself thinking a lot about both my successes and not successes and those of the people who worked with me. I started to wonder why it is that some people change easily and others seem to not change at all. Why at times it is harder or easier for me to change. It seems to me that finding the answer to that question would make me a better reader and a better person. I decided to talk to other readers about the subject and share those interviews here.

I got together via the wonders of the web with Nancy Antenucci and talked for about an hour about changing, getting stuck and childbirth as a metaphoric answer to the question of change. If you don’t know who Nancy is you can check out her bio below.

Who is Nancy Antenucci?

Nancy Antenucci (Between The Worlds LLC) is a seasoned tarot reader as well as a teacher of intuitive and creative strategies. She brings 25 years of hard-earned wisdom, practical know-how and unending passion of the creative unknown to her clients, students and colleagues. She regularly teaches and mentors tarot and intuitive development classes in Minneapolis and St. Paul. She has been presenting at the annual Women’s Spirituality Conference in Mankato, Minnesota for the last 10 years. The Twin Cities Metro Magazine named her one of the Twin Cities’ best psychics.
